B in Bath Founder earns place on Social Entrepreneurship Programme

We are very excited and proud that our Founder, Renée Jacobs, has been awarded a place on the The Bath and North East Somerset Social Entrepreneurs Programme, led by the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) in partnership with 3SG. It is funded by the UK Government through the UK Community Renewal Fund, which is managed by the West of England Combined Authority within the Bath and North East Somerset region.

This is a significant and meaningful achievement, both for Renée personally and for B in Bath that will enable the growth of B in Bath and sets us on course to realise more of our aims and objectives. Using the learnings, relationships and funding from the programme, we will be developing a series of events and activities with the aim of increasing our impact and what we are able to deliver to the community in Bath, continuing our focus on prioritising the needs of minoritised and marginalised groups.

About School for Social Entrepreneurs

We can’t fix issues like poverty, climate change and ill-health alone. That’s why the School

for Social Entrepreneurs exists. We help 1,000 people a year develop the skills, strengths and networks they need to tackle society’s biggest problems. We run courses that equip people to start, scale and strengthen organisations that make a positive difference. But we’re not a traditional school. Learning with SSE is inspiring, action-based and accessible. We support people in other ways too, such as funding and mentoring. Lord Michael Young founded SSE in 1997. Today we work internationally, with teams across the UK, Canada and India. Together, we’re changing lives and transforming communities. www.the-sse.org
